FIFA will meet on June 12th to discuss how to sell leftover tickets for the second-round World Cup matches.

FIFA will allow the Japan Organising Committee for the World Cup (JAWOC) sell half of the 39,600 unsold tickets for the remaining 12 matches in the first round over the phone.

Tickets for the England-Argentina and Sweden-Nigeria games on Friday have already been sold out. The other 50 per cent of unsold tickets in the first round will be available online.
