Gardai are treating as murder the death of a woman in Balbriggan, north Co Dublin. Ms Mary Whelan (27) was found dead at her home in Clonard Street.
In a separate incident, a man detained at Rathfarnham Garda station in relation to the death of a 42-year-old man has been released. A file is being sent to the DPP. The name of the deceased has not been released.
