The chairmen of the Premier League clubs' were meeting this morning amid speculation that a new £1.1 billion sterling television contract is about to be announced.
Officials were giving nothing away after the Daily Mailreported Sky will retain their live TV rights under a three-year contract.
The figure, says the paper, is the same as the last deal but will cover many more matches.
There could be up to 404 games shown live compared to the present 198, according to the Daily Express, which also claims Sky are most likely to link up with the BBC, meaning the return of Match of the Day, with Gary Lineker fronting a number of live matches.
