The Parades Commission tonight upheld its decision to allow an Apprentice Boys’ parade to pass through the republican Ardoyne area of north Belfast on Saturday.

Sinn Féin had applied for a review of the decision in light of the recent violence and the continuing tension in the area.

The parade will be allowed to pass along the Crumlin Road past the flashpoint Ardoyne shops area.
