Sir, – Perhaps an appropriate follow-up to Lola Montez's age "adjustment" (Frank McNally, An Irishman's Diary, February 17th), might be a statement from one of Oscar Wilde's characters. "Never trust a woman who tells the truth about her age." Of course, nowadays one would have to substitute "anyone" for "woman". – Yours, etc,
