Sir, – I note with interest the continuing growth of the use of preferred pronouns (“they” and “them”) and previously unrecognised gendered abbreviations (“AFAB – assigned female at birth”) by your journalists.
Perhaps, to invoke one of the country’s most-loved sitcoms, you might tell us straight out: are we all to be woke intersectionalists now as readers of The Irish Times, or will it be enough to agree with your growing endorsements of successor ideology on the weekends? – Yours, etc,
