Two men have been killed in separate overnight road accidents.

Two men have been killed in separate overnight road accidents.

A man was killed when his car struck a tree near Roslea on the main Lisnaskea to Monaghan road. The incident occurred at around 4 a.m. this morning.

Meanwhile a male pedestrian in his 40s died last night after being struck by a car in Co Wexford. The man, who has not yet been named, was hit by the car at Killeagh, Blackwater, at about 11 p.m.

Gardaí are investigating the incident and have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
