Softly softly

This time last year Lucy Nagle was getting her first knitwear samples ready to sell to prospective buyers in Ireland. A year later her luxurious cashmere and merino sweaters are now selling in Brown Thomas, BT2, Kalu in Naas and Muse in Waterford and in September in Intermix in New York. She attributes her overnight success to the fact that her knits suit women of all ages and "there is something for everyone. I listen to what customers want", she says. Particular favourites, for example, are her little crop cardigans, ideal for sleeveless dresses. Her latest collection includes this grey cashmere round neck (289) and button down cardigan (300) on sale in BT2 next week.
