Donnybrook/€600,000: Lisney expects a price in the region of €600,000 for a large one-bedroom apartment (number 16) in the landmark St Ann's development in Donnybrook, Dublin 4.

Light bounces around this third floor apartment, spilling in through the wide picture windows and reflecting off the chic pale linoleum floor that runs throughout. Nine foot ceilings, a rarity in modern apartments, add to the sense of space, as does the room-sized entrance hall which has a cloakroom on one side, and good cupboard space.

Kitchen units are in pale timber with glass-fronted cupboards and there is a big American-style stove. The owners, who are based in New York, also installed the American tin ceiling.

The €2,000 annual service charge covers hot water and central heating which is piped through smart old-fashioned radiators.
