Refurbished for a sale

The Gunne agency expects a price in excess of £330,000 for a terraced redbrick house at 20 Leeson Park Avenue, off Appian Way, in Dublin 6. The three-bedroom home is scheduled for auction on February 16th. The same agent auctioned the house last June when it failed to reach its reserve. Since then, it has been refurbished and redecorated by its investor owners who bought it in 1997 for £240,000. It is now in walk-in condition with varnished timber floors throughout and working fireplaces and shutters in the principal rooms.

The front door opens into a hallway that is painted bright yellow with stripped pine doors leading to the two reception rooms.
