Waterford Wedgwood has offered to pay #14

Waterford Wedgwood has offered to pay #14.8 million to buy out the remaining shareholding of its German porcelain subsidiary, Rosenthal.

The tender offer for the 15.3 per cent of the group it does not own is at a price of #100 per share, some 40.8 per cent higher than Rosenthal's current share price.
