Arthur Andersen has developed "Corporate Pensions Review", a new service to highlight the value of companies' pension schemes for prospective and current employees.

Few employees include the cost of pension schemes when comparing offers from prospective employers. "With pension contribution rates by employers of up to 20 per cent of salary, highlighting the value of a company's pension scheme can be a valuable recruitment and retention tool," the firm said.

The new service provides businesses with a comprehensive review of their existing pension scheme and suggests practical solutions to make it a more attractive part of staff and recruitment packages.
