The former Civil and Public Services Union leader, Mr John O'Dowd, is a principal in the consortium that has been contracted to carry out the biggest training programme on partnership ever undertaken in Ireland.

The £300,000 (€380,900) contract on training for partnership in local government has been awarded by the Local Authority National Advisory Group on Partnership to the consortium which comprises John O'Dowd Consultants and Farrell Grant Sparks.
