BASF Ireland has reported a 13 per cent increase in sales to €35.6 million (£28.04 million) in the first half of this year.

The firm, which has a sales and marketing operation but carries out no manufacturing here, says the increase in sales reflects the continued growth of the economy and volume improvements in all its key sectors. The company employs 13 people.
