Rince Ri goes on trial for Cheltenham at Naas on Sunday. Ted Walsh will give the Royal & SunAlliance Novices' Chase entry his second start over fences in the Naas Novice Chase before thinking about the Festival.
"The plan is to run there with my son Ruby riding and after that I'll make a decision about Cheltenham," the trainer said yesterday.
Rince Ri has not run since he made a successful chasing debut at Navan in November when beating Native Estates. A cough prevented the gelding's running at Leopardstown over Christmas but Walsh added: "He has fully recovered and I expect him to run well."
Kim Bailey's case reopens at Bow Street Magistrates' Court in Central London today. The trainer and former Thames Valley Police officer Robert Harrington are jointly charged with conspiracy to burgle the property of jockey Norman Williamson.
