John Evans named Philips Manager of the Month for April

Roscommon football manager John Evans was on Monday named Philips Manager of the Month for April.

Last month in Croke Park, Roscommon defeated Down by 1-17 to 0-15 to claim the Allianz League Division Two title and so qualify to play Division One next season.

This is the third piece of silverware since Evans took charge of the side at the end of the 2012 season. Last April they won the Division Three title and followed that with an FBD League title in January before achieving Division One status last month.
