Sir, – Congratulations to the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage Darragh O’Brien for achieving a 15 per cent increase in the price of houses last year. His policy of enabling as much money as possible to be injected into the housing market when there is a shortage of supply is clearly working.
On behalf of all those who have seen another significant increase in the value of their houses, many thanks to all those who have saddled themselves with huge levels of debt and 30-year and 35-year mortgages to finance this increase.
Many thanks, also, to future generations whose taxes will be required to repay the debt taken out on your behalf by the Minister to help fund this significant increase in value. – Yours, etc,
