Sir, – As I read with intrigue the secret teacher's categorisation of every single parenting type ("Are you a 'soft touch', 'Darth Vader' or 'Mamma Mia' parent", October 8th), it occurred to me that one category was missing – the "just good enough" parent.
In a world of endless demands, where even the best of efforts don’t measure up, it is the category to which many of us can only aspire. Given the lofty perch upon which the “secret” teacher sits, from where judgment on the failings of parents is thrown, perhaps the title of “perfect” teacher is more apt? – Yours, etc,
