Sir, – There is no plan or timetable for lifting lockdown. There are multiple inconsistencies in the restrictions. There is a danger that members of the public will stop doing as they are asked.
The Taoiseach is a decent man and has survived in politics by not offending people but is shown up when decisions are needed.
The Minister for Health is full of facts but we would expect him to decide what to do about the situation rather than restate uncertainties.
The Tánaiste seems to be trying to get a commitment to what will happen in March.
Meanwhile, the building industry is suffering. And retail. And the public.
