Sir, – I agree with Stephanie Walsh regarding the stamps (Letters, December 22nd). The people in the post offices do great work but I feel that An Post, like many other organisations, is afraid to publish anything with a religious theme. I have received cards from Europe and the United States and it doesn't seem to be a problem anywhere else. As usual, we are throwing away centuries of tradition just to please a vocal minority. Yesterday I received a card from an Irish company wishing me a "Happy Winter".
