Sir, – Emer McLysaght writes about cats ("In defence of being a Crazy Cat Lady", Magazine, December 18th) and Catherine Cleary writes about mindfulness ("Mindfulness: give yourself a green gift this Christmas").
Coincidence? I don’t think so. My cat is sitting by my laptop right now, in a state of advanced contemplation and (quite possibly) enlightenment.
