Sir, – I'm sure Gerry Adams appreciates the plug for his to-be-published Negotiators' Cook Book, ("Cookie ár lá: Gerry Adams to publish book of recipes", Noel McAdam, August 7th). But it was an odd topic to headline, given that, in the course of his Féile An Phobail interview with me, the former Sinn Féin president discussed republican-Catholic Church relations during the Troubles, a savage beating he received from the British army, and the IRA funeral during which two undercover British soldiers were killed. Odder still your description of me as an Irish News columnist: I haven't written an Irish News column in over 15 years. Do try to keep up. – Yours, etc,
JUDE COLLINS,
Antrim.
