Sir, – A news report on Mountjoy Square includes a reference to “one of the few intact original houses left on the square” (News, May 2nd).
The Oxford English Dictionary defines “intact” as “complete and not damaged”. It may thus be of interest that two-thirds of the houses on the square are original and intact – while buildings with facsimile facades were built which recompleted the external appearance of the square three decades ago. – Is mise,
