Traveller women still experience racism, exclusion and marginalisation, and settled women were urged to support them on these issues at a conference in Dublin yesterday involving more than 200 Traveller women.

Ms Rosaleen McDonagh of the National Traveller Women's Forum, which organised the event, referred to the importance of Traveller women showing solidarity with each other.
