Services between Bray and Greystones were suspended for a second time on Friday evening due to two trackside fires at Bray Head in Co Wicklow.

Dart and other train services were first suspended at approximately 8pm on Friday and restarted for a time before the single-track line was closed again around 9pm.

A later post on X by the train operator at 11.30pm said the line had reopened.

A photograph posted on the Iarnród Éireann website showed a fire burning on the embankment.
