Strasbourg - At least ten people were killed and 85 injured when a violent storm brought a tree crashing down onto spectators at an open-air concert in France last night.

Eighteen of those injured in the accident on the outskirts of the city of Strasbourg were in critical condition, including two children.

Tragedy struck on just after 10:00 p.m. during a recital in the grounds of Chateau Pourtales in the suburbs of Strasbourg.
