THE teachers of Gaelscoil Mhichil Cisog in Ennis, Co Clare, are to take industrial action today to get the Department of Education to approve a tender for a new school, promised since 1993.
The Irish National Teachers Organisation said: "The parents, teachers and management have been seeking improvements since the school was established in 1983, and 187 pupils are now crammed together in rotting prefabs which have been condemned by all relevant medical and health and safety authorities."
