State workers continue strike

HARARE - A strike by thousands of Zimbabwean state workers entered its second week with a march yesterday, after the government said that all employees who defied calls to return to work last week had been fired. The state of medical care was reportedly deteriorating, with one large hospital outside the capital Harare running out of oxygen.
