A man is in hospital this morning after being shot in the stomach in Belfast last night.

A man is in hospital this morning after being shot in the stomach in Belfast last night.

The man, who was riding a bicycle towards the city centre, was shot on Garmoyle St, in the Docks area. A man ambushed the cyclist as he passed Pilot St.

The gunman then ran off and escaped in a silver car towards Short St.

An RUC spokesperson said the man’s condition was not known at this stage.
