STRASBOURG - Croatia will he officially admitted to the Council of Europe on November 6th, crowning a campaign by Zagreb to move closer to Europe after the war in former Yugoslavia, it was announced yesterday. In Zagreb, Croatian officials said the Strasbourg decision was "the first big step for Zagreb ... in the process of joining Europe".
