Glen Dimplex acquires Norwegian heating firm

Privately owned electrical products group Glen Dimplex has acquired Norwegian electric heating group NOBO Electro.

Privately owned electrical products group Glen Dimplex has acquired Norwegian electric heating group NOBO Electro.

Earlier this year, Glen Dimplex acquired an initial 25 per cent shareholding in NOBO, which has an annual turnover of €40 million and employs 200 people at its plant in Stjordal, Norway.

Glen Dimplex has an annual turnover of €1.3 billion and employs 8,500 people worldwide - 2,500 are employed in Ireland.
