Four people have been shot in "punishment" attacks in the North

Four people have been shot in "punishment" attacks in the North. A 19-year-old man is in hospital with gunshot wounds to both ankles after an incident in the Ballymurphy district of west Belfast yesterday morning.

In a separate attack, two men were shot in the legs in Bangor, Co Down, on Wednesday night. A short time before in east Belfast, a 36-year-old man was admitted to hospital, also with gunshot wounds to the leg.
