Former Spanish international Ivan de la Pena is mulling over a contract offer from Celtic, according to his agent.
The free agent, whose career began well at Barcelona before an ill-fated move to Lazio, spent a trial period at the Parkhead club last week, along with Portugal international Dani.
The 25-year-old left to explore an offer to play in Qatar but after the player rejected that Celtic moved back in. His agent would not reveal details of the offer but confirmed that one had been made late yesterday.
