Ireland's Liam Cunningham found himself out of his depth at the world amateur boxing championships at Belfast's Odyssey Arena today.
Cunningham, from Belfast, was stopped in just over a minute by Ukrainian Volodymyr Sydorenko, Olympic silver medallist and reigning European flyweight champion.
Cunningham was floored by a right hand and forced to take a count of eight before bravely attempting to fight back.
But Sydorenko quickly unloaded another explosive right that sent Cunningham staggering to the ropes and the referee called a halt to the contest.
