£2.25m for four housing schemes

The largest grant, worth almost £1.1 million, will go to St Ita's Housing Project, Abbeyfeale, Co Limerick, while £666,000 has been granted to Respond, Youghal, Co Cork. Louisburgh Community Housing Ltd in Co Mayo will receive £64,000 and the Cork Association for Autism £27,065.

The grants are under the terms of the Voluntary Housing Capital Assistance Scheme which covers up to 90 per cent (95 per cent in the case of homeless persons) of the capital costs of providing the accommodation.
