A large period house on over three acres of development land beside Sallins railway station in Co Kildare is expected to make in excess of £2 million when it is auctioned on October through Jordan Town and Country Estates. The property is to be sold in two lots, with the five-bedroom house on almost a quarter of an acre likely to make around £350,000. The agents are quoting a guideline price of £1.7 million for the adjoining three-acre site, which they say could accommodate over 70 residential units. The location beside the railway station may persuade the planners to allow a high density scheme.
