The Consumers' Association of Ireland (CAI) has announced that it is going to introduce a "Kitemark" type rating for the Government's new special incentive savings scheme.

The association is requesting all banks, building societies and life offices to complete its quality mark questionnaire. The approval rating will take into account costs, guarantees on product margins, flexibility and transparency.
