Life Assurance Brokers, or LA Brokers, in Greystones has developed an execution only service for single premium investments. The independent discount broker offers two discount options to clients - a reinvestment option or a cheque refund option. These refunds are available because LA Brokers either negotiates a reinvestment or return of the 3 per cent fee it would have received from the insurance company.

Instead, the broker receives renewal fees of 0.5 per cent per annum. Clients taking the cheque refund option pay a £25 administration fee.
