CRH and Bank of Ireland have joined the Business Week list of the 1,000 most valuable companies in the World

CRH and Bank of Ireland have joined the Business Week list of the 1,000 most valuable companies in the World. CRH is listed the 922nd most valuable in terms of market capitalisation with a value of $3.4 billion (£2.13 billion). Bank of Ireland is 928th with a value of $3.38 billion.

AIB which was in last year's list with a rank of 842nd has dropped to 867th with a value of $3.64 billion. The largest company is US group, General Electric. It is valued at $137.34 billion.
