Whatever happened to David Harvey

Remembered fondly by wrinkly old Leeds fans, largely because when he was in goal Gary Sprake wasn't. Harvey played for just two English clubs, Leeds and Bradford City, during his career which lasted from 1965 to 1984. He then tried his hand at a string of jobs (he became player-manager of non-league Whitby in 1985, ran a pub, delivered fruit and veg to hotels in Harrogate and worked as a postman in the Yorkshire town of Knaresborough) - these days he is a small farmer in the Orkney Islands and intends seeing out his retirement there.

(Sprake, by the way, is a training officer with the local council in Solihull).
