Most major clubs provide their fans with a "virtual tour" of their stadium on their internet sites. Manchester United have, perhaps, the most impressive, one that allows you to experience everything from taking a penalty kick on the hallowed turf of Old Trafford to a visit to the club's laundry.
Some would argue that once the club is officially renamed Murdoch United a virtual tour of the ground is as close as most of the supporters will get to the inside of Old Trafford.
Dagenham and Redbridge's Victoria Road is somewhat easier to gain entry to but, if it's a little out of your way, fear not - the unofficial club site provides its very own virtual tour of the non-league ground.
"It's here after all this time," announces webmaster and Dagenham and Redbridge diehard Steven McGregor, "and it's rubbish. . . but have a look."
While United's virtual tour is hi-tech and interactive, Steven's tour is made up 30 grainy colour photos of the turnstiles, car park, programme stall, amongst other landmarks - virtually virtual, but not quite.
