BASKETBALL: ESB Superleague leaders Waterford will need a quick rebound from last weekend's cup defeat when they travel to Limerick tomorrow. Their shock fall to Star of the Sea last Friday night contrasted directly with Limerick, who emerged from the shadows to take their first ever cup honour on Sunday.

Limerick defeated Waterford earlier in the season - one of only three clubs to do so - and a win at the University Arena would significantly boost their challenge for the double over the closing weeks. Robert Lynch and Dave Barry will be missing with injury, while Waterford will be at full strength.

Elsewhere, it's a packed schedule with both UCD Marian and St Vincent's facing double-headers. Tonight too there is the always-electric Cork derby of in-form Demons and Neptune, with the latter still in the hunt for the title if everything goes to plan over the final weeks.

Karl Donnelly is back in the St Vincent's side as they meet Notre Dame at the ESB Arena (formerly National Arena) this evening, and then travel to UCD Marian on Sunday. UCD are expected to have Trevor Smullen back from injury.
