Joey Carbery is one of six Munster players to sign contract extensions that will keep the group at the province until 2024.

Fellow Ireland internationals Chris Farrell and Jean Kleyn have also signed, as have Liam Coombes and Jack O'Sullivan. Academy player Alex Kendellen signs his first senior deal ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Both Carbery and Kleyn currently find themselves sidelined by injuries, while Farrell has also had limited gametime this season due to an abdominal issue.

Kendellen captained the Ireland U20s side during last year's Six Nations and recently made his first start for Munster against Connacht.
