The light heavyweight was the last of Ireland's seven boxers to qualify from Paris. Brennan had to go in to a box-off after losing his quarter-final bout against Croatian Luka Plantic. Showing huge courage, Brennan came through a brutal battle with Sweden's Liridon Nuha to finally realise his Olympic dream. It was tight all the way but as ever showed grit.
