Kenny is currently Ireland's highest-ranked show jumper, at number eight in the world. In 2007, at the age of 19, Kenny was invited to compete at the Dublin Horse Show as one of Ireland's leading young riders where he won a training bursary to work with a top American coach at North Run Stables. He is based between the United States and Europe, and has won two five-star Grands Prix with his top mount, Balou du Reventon.
