SaturdayA recording of Andy Gray and Richard Keys' pre-match conversation is leaked to the media
Richard Keys (RK):"Somebody better get down there and explain offside to her."
Andy Gray (AG):"Yeah, I know, can you believe that? A female linesman? That's exactly what I said, they probably don't know the offside rule."
RK: "Of course they don't."
AG: "I mean for **** sake . . . ".
RK: "I can guarantee you there will be a big one today. Kenny (Dalglish) will go potty. This is not the first time, is it? Didn't we have one before?"
AG: "Yeah."
RK: "Wendy Toms?"
AG: "Yeah, Wendy Toms or something like that. She ****ed it up as well."
RK: "Urrrgh. The game's gone mad. D'you see the charming Karren Brady this morning complaining about sexism. Yeah, do me a favour, love."
Monday
Sky News air an exchange between Gray and Sky Sports reporter Andy Burton, recorded before the Wolves v Liverpool game
Andy Burton (AB):"Apparently, a female lino today, bit of a looker, according to Steve the cameraman."
Andy Gray (AG):"A female linesman?"
AB: "That's what he said to me. He said she's alright. Now, I don't know if I should trust his judgement on that."
AG: "Nah, I wouldn't, I definitely wouldn't.
Crew member:"Female assistant, Andy, any good to you?"
AG: "No, I can see her from here. **** . . . what do women know about the offside rule?"
