A THREE-POINT lead ahead of Manchester City has seen the first T-shirts appearing this week commemorating another league triumph for Alex Ferguson's United, writes Daniel Taylor.

“Champ20ns” is the message, despite the fact there are still six weeks to the end of the season and one bad result could see City replace them at the top. The accompanying message is aimed directly at City: “Money only gets you so far”. The stunt opens United’s supporters to allegations of premature triumphalism when they have to play at the Etihad on April 30th. There will not be a refund to buyers if United blow their lead.
