IRELAND'S Tracy Eakin lies in second place following the second round of the American Express European Tour qualifying school at La Manga Club in Spain yesterday. Eakin carded a second successive round of 70 and now trails Canadian Maire Josee Rouleau by two strokes. Rouleau finished at five under on 138.

Eakin had been one over after 11, but birdied the next two holes and collected another at the long 18th to come home in 33.

Meanwhile, Lisa Dermott and Lisa Educate, members of this year's winning Curtis Cup side, had mixed fortunes. Dermott now shares 16th place, while Educate is tied for 51st place.
