An investigation into disclosures of property interests held by Minister of State Robert Troy has been requested by People Before Profit TD Paul Murphy, after reporting by website The Ditch revealed failures to properly register his ownership of three properties.

On today’s Inside Politics podcast Jack Horgan-Jones, Jennifer Bray and Hugh Linehan discuss the many threads of the story and whether property entanglements are politically palatable, even when no laws are broken.

They also discuss ongoing problems at An Bord Pleanála, possible measures in next month’s budget and how the state is coping with growing numbers of Ukrainian refugees.
