Madam, - "SARS crisis". What crisis? Zero cases in Ireland. "MMR Controversy". What controversy? There is virtual medical unanimity about MMR's safety. Could this represent media manipulation and scaremongering?

There is much justified media fuss about keeping the SARS virus out of Ireland. By contrast, there is little media interest in the fact that the measles virus is allowed to circulate freely in Ireland because 30 per cent of Irish parents fail to have their children immunised.
